LPD manufacture and distribute a wide range of interior and exterior doors through stockists nationwide. I worked with them to redesign their website; making it more product focussed and accommodating the lifestyle photography that features heavily in their brochures.
A key UX challenge was to create a "Try Your Door On" tool, where the user could visualise how their door might look in their house. The tool focussed on allowing maximum flexibility without overwhelming the user with choice. I achieved this through a simple colour picker for walls and floors, or a choice of generic roomset images. From here, the user could add their own handles or skirting boards; before sending the image on to a partner or requesting a quote.
